Ro Khanna to Speak at the Berkeley Forum

BERKELEY, California―September 25, 2014―The Berkeley Forum today announced that for its first event of the Fall 2014 Session, it will host Ro Khanna for an address entitled "Silicon Nation: Tech and Manufacturing in a Global Economy."

Ro Khanna is a 2014 candidate for California's 17th congressional district. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Economics at Stanford University and is an Adjunct Professor at Santa Clara Law School. He served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce under President Obama. In his address, Khanna will discuss some of the ties between technology, politics, and the economy, as well as the unique economic role his district will play in coming years.

The address will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Anna Head Alumnae Hall. More information about the event and admission may be found on the official event page.
