Ticket Purchases and Event Seating

  1. Events for which high attendance is expected will be ticketed. Please visit our website periodically to check whether tickets are required for an event.
  2. All events, including ticketed events, are free to UC Berkeley students, staff, and faculty, provided they present a current Cal ID upon entering the venue. Ticket pricing for the general public varies from event to event depending on event expenses.
  3. All attendees will be asked to present a valid ID at the venue that matches the name on the ticket.
  4. Tickets are non-transferable. While you may purchase a ticket on someone's behalf, their name must be listed on the ticket.
  5. Tickets are non-refundable, and all ticket sales are final.
  6. Having a ticket does not guarantee access to the event but does give the ticketholder priority over walk-ins until 10 minutes before the program is set to start, at which point walk-ins and ticketholders will have equal access to remaining seats. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your program is scheduled to start, or earlier if instructed on the program’s webpage.
  7. Seating will generally be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
