BERKELEY, California―January 22, 2017―Today the Berkeley Forum announced a selection of events from its Spring 2017 lineup, which includes 14 debates, panels, and talks with leaders from various fields and disciplines.

You can view the announced events and sign up to receive notifications when tickets become available on our upcoming events page. All events are open to the public and free for UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff.

“I’m honored to announce this semester’s spectacular lineup. With this set of speakers, the Berkeley Forum draws ever closer to its mission of providing an accessible forum for students to discuss, debate, and engage with the important ideas and leaders today,” said Daniel Ahrens, president of the Berkeley Forum. “We are honored to host speakers such as Carla Hayden, the Librarian of Congress, Justin Kan, founder of Twitch.tv, and Amy Ziering, Director of The Hunting Ground, among others. I want to thank our student staff for putting together this lineup. None of this would be possible without their tireless work for the Forum.”

The Forum’s team is working to confirm more events for the Spring 2017 session. All dates and speakers are subject to change. More information about these events and other upcoming events will be shared on the Berkeley Forum’s website and social media pages.
