Berkeley Forum Announces the Fall 2014
Executive Committee


BERKELEY, California―May 8, 2014―Following a two-week election process, the Berkeley Forum today announced its Executive Committee for the Fall of 2014 session.

President: Pierre Bourbonnais
Pierre was elected the Berkeley Forum’s president for the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 sessions. Prior to the Berkeley Forum, Pierre served as the marketing manager of the Daily Californian and sat on the Palo Alto Unified School District Board of Education. He is an undergraduate researcher in the Department of Political Science and was the first place recipient of the 2012-2013 Berkeley Center for the Study of Value Prize in Personal Integrity. Pierre is a Berkeley junior pursuing a B.A. in Political Science.

Programming Vice President: Natasha Kafai
Natasha was elected the Berkeley Forum’s vice president of programming for the Fall 2014 session. Outside of the Forum, Natasha is an undergraduate researcher in the UC Berkeley Welch Lab. She previously served as the student body president of Woodside High School in Redwood City, CA. She is a Berkeley junior pursuing a B.A in Molecular and Cell Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and Global Poverty and Practice.

Communications Vice President: Erinn Wong
Erinn was elected the Berkeley Forum’s vice president of communications for the Fall 2014 session. Prior to the Forum, Erinn was the governor of the California-Nevada-Hawaii district of Key Club International, where she represented over 45,000 students and nearly 700 high schools. She has also served as the Kiwanis Family Chair of the UC Berkeley Circle K service organization. She is a Berkeley sophomore pursuing a B.A. in Economics.

Head Moderator: Carter Keeling
Carter was elected the Berkeley Forum’s head moderator for the Fall 2014 session. Carter joined the Forum in September 2013 as a member of the Programming Committee and in January 2014 was appointed events manager. As manager, he organized many widely-attended and successful events. He has also moderated conversations with Creative Commons Founder Lawrence Lessig and David Chase, Creator of The Sopranos. He is a Berkeley freshman pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science and Environmental Economics and Policy.

Secretary-Treasurer: Byran Yang
Byran was elected the Berkeley Forum’s secretary-treasurer for the Fall 2014 session. In 2014, the office of secretary-treasurer was re-designated an executive office and Byran was elected to serve in the position again for the Fall 2014 session. Byran also serves on the Forum's Technology Division where he works to bring new services to the Berkeley Forum website. He is a Berkeley sophomore pursuing a B.A. in Computer Science.
